Ads so bad, they're good
I stumbled upon a series of "classic" commercials on Amazon Prime:
Calling these commercials "classic" is being kind. They earn the title for just being old. Most of the spots are what you'd expect – misogynistic, politically incorrect, laughably bad, and maybe a bit racist.
Together, they create this video museum that's fun to scan through. You get a feel of what real mad men were cranking out in the 50's and 60's. As an old Chevy writer, I particularly enjoyed seeing Chevrolet commercials by my former agency.
Don't have free viewing with Amazon Prime? I recommend the $.99 rental. Forget paying the HD upgrade, you won't get better quality. To be honest, they feel more authentic with the bad sound and footage.
